opndev

wdms has been contributing to open source for over 20 years. It’s not a side project, it’s a major reason wdms and its predecessors exist. As an open source consumer it is all about enabling yourself and others with FOSS products. As an open source developer it is all about giving back. Libraries are (mostly) built with real client work behind them or to scratch an itch. The line between commercial and open source work is intentionally thin.

wdms maintains several packages on CPAN and contributes to projects across the ecosystem. Net::SAML2 is probably the most notable, as a co-maintainer we helped with maintenance, and incorporated years of downstream patches from Zaaksysteem, resulting in a major cleanup that removed thousands of lines of code.

Other contributions include the official Docker Perl image, (the now defunct) LastPass CLI client, WebService::KvKAPI for the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, WebService::ValidSign for document signing, and contributions to git, zsh, Debian and Open API’s swagger project.
